It seems that there is no need to explain what the company’s values are or what they are for. It seems that in every company everyone knows these values. And yet, when you ask an employee of any company about its values, you very often hear “I don’t know”. What is it like here at Humeo?
We asked ourselves the same question at Humeo. What are our values at work? We always knew subcutaneously what values we follow and we knew that we see the recruiter’s job at Humeo in the same way. However, it turned out that when it came to formulating them specifically, it wasn’t that simple.
So one day in August, we sat down together and each of us spoke about what is essential for him at work and what motivates him in his decision making. Then we wrote down and summarized all the points.
And suddenly, everything that everyone subconsciously felt became completely clear and transparent. Thus, the list of values that every consultant in Humeo follows on a daily basis was created.
Our company values, here there are.
Whoever we work with, one thing is certain. We always play fair. We don’t send candidates who don’t exist. We don’t say that a candidate has changed his mind (but in fact, he was never interested). We do not overstate his financial expectations. If we accept a project, we know how long it will take. If we know that it will take long, we announce it loyally. We also inform you always when we will deal with your project. And if we see a better solution for you than the agency, we will tell you about it.
Why do we do that? The reason is that business ethics and honesty in action are essential to us. We also believe that this approach pays off with a long-term cooperation. Both sides.
On a daily basis, we say that when it comes to IT, people are important. There’s a reason. We always keep in mind that there is a man on the other side who has his own needs and expectations, and changing jobs is a serious decision. And this is who we are for. So we make sure that the process is efficient, that we provide regular feedback, choose the right offer and make the candidate feel really taken care of throughout the whole recruitment process.
The effect? Satisfied candidates who are eager to apply for our positions and recommend us to their friends. That’s one of our company values, but us customers we value this as well.
We cannot imagine an IT recruiter who isn’t skilled in the IT world. Every recruiter at Humeo knows not only programming languages, but also the right technologies and knows what they are used for. Some even code after hours as a hobby. As a result, the right offer is targeted at the right person, and the candidate knows what he or she will potentially do at the stage of an interview with us. And obviously, he also knows who he will work for, because after all, we have to introduce him to the company and the project, don’t we?
Curious about how to recruit better. Curious about how the IT world works. Curious about what our client does. We do everything we can to constantly expand our knowledge about both the IT industry and recruitment. And that both in groups and individually. After all, in such a dynamic industry, you cannot rest on your laurels even for a moment. And we also want to get to know our customers well, so we just have to be curious about the world.
No matter if it’s just another short phone call to ask the candidate a few more questions, or to arrange recruitment meetings for our client, or a comprehensive analysis of the recruitment process to make it better. You can always count on us. Because we always do more than you expect.
